Intraoral-Digital Cameras

An image that speaks a thousand words. By offering our patient the opportunity to see what problems they have in their mouth, one can  immediately understand the necessity of the treatment.

The intra- oral camera is used to click pictures inside the oral cavity and the image is     immediately displayed on the LCD monitor for patient viewing. 

By showing the area to be treated, the patient will be visually informed and involved in oral health matters. The patient is no longer only “subjected” to treatment. He understands what we shall be  doing and why we are doing it.

Digital X-Rays

We at SMILEMART have done away with the conventional X- ray films. We use the latest X- ray visualization technique that is the Radiovisiograph(RVG). This makes use of a digital sensor instead of an x-ray film and the radiographic image is instantaneously displayed on the LCD monitor as in an intraoral camera. This makes evaluation of your problem easy, quicker and better.

It also helps our patients to understand their problems in a better way. Also because of the immediate image display the chair side time for the patient is reduced and hence you can do away with shorter appointment time. The biggest advantage of the RVG is that it requires 95% less exposure to X-ray radiation than the conventional films and hence it is beneficial for the patient as large dosage of X-ray radiations have proven to be harmful for the individuals.
