infection control
Today's
infection transmission scenario worldwide is a grim one. In our practice we follow strict sterilization
protocol for each and every patient. This brings down the risk
of transmission of diseases.
Most
of the instruments used are autoclaved (steam sterilized under
pressure) to kill the deadliest of microorganisms causing fatal
diseases (this includes HIV and Hepatitis B). All autoclaved instruments
are stored in sterile pouches which are opened only at the time
of its use. All surfaces used are disinfected with a solution
effective against HIV & HBV after each procedure. The doctors
as well as our staff follow strict measures to prevent cross contamination
Things
like needles, blades, gloves, glasses, suction tips etc. are all
disposable and discarded after a single use. We
even keep our root canal files for single use and destroy them after using. Waste is collected by a waste disposal
company( DELHI POLLUTION CONTROL COMMITTEE) and then incinerated.
We are certified by the delhi government as a non- polluting clinic
under the DPCC act.
To
reassure our patients we ensure complete transparency in our sterilization,
disinfection and hygiene protocol.
