Instant Teeth Whitening Treament Near You in Gugraon

A perfect smile is the most attractive feature of our face. It helps you leave the best impression during social, personal and professional visits.

But not every one of us is lucky enough to have a perfect smile that locks attention. Crooked, uneven, broken, overlapped, stained and discolored teeth may make you look aged and dull, while a well shaped bright set of teeth leaves you with a perfect smile.
Smile designing treatment is a cosmetic treatment that focuses on improving the appearance of your smile through certain procedures such as dental VENEERS, Composite bonding, teeth whitening.

Brushing and flossing are everyday ways to keep your teeth bright, white and healthy. Still, if you might feel like your smile is lacking some sparkle or is more yellow, bleaching is the solution.
Tooth whitening or bleaching is the process of lightning the color of human teeth. Whitening is often desirable when teeth become yellowed over time for a number of reasons, and can be achieved by changing the intrinsic or extrinsic color of the tooth enamel.

Why do your Teeth change color?

Over time, your teeth can go from white to not-so-bright for a number of reasons:

  • Food and Drink: Coffee, tea and red wine are some major staining culprits.
  • Tobacco Use: Two chemicals found in tobacco create stubborn stains: Tar and nicotine. Tar is naturally dark. Nicotine is colorless until it’s mixed with oxygen. Then, it turns into a yellowish, surface-staining substance.
  • Age: Below the hard, white outer shell of your teeth (enamel) is a softer area called dentin. Over time, the outer enamel layer gets thinner with brushing and more of the yellowish dentin shows through.
  • Trauma: If you’ve been hit in the mouth, your tooth may change color because it reacts to an injury by laying down more dentin, which is a darker layer under the enamel.
  • Medications: Tooth darkening can be a side effect of certain antihistamines, antipsychotics and high blood pressure medications. Young children who are exposed to antibiotics like tetracycline and doxycycline when their teeth are forming (either in the womb or as a baby) may have discoloration of their adult teeth later in life.

What is used for Bleaching?

Hydrogen peroxide is the active ingredient most commonly used in whitening products and is delivered as either hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is analogous to carbamide peroxide as it is released when the stable complex is in contact with water. When it diffuses into the tooth, hydrogen peroxide acts as an oxidising agent that breaks down to produce unstable free radicals. In the spaces between the inorganic salts in tooth enamel, these unstable free radicals attach to organic pigment molecules resulting in small, less heavily pigmented components. Reflecting less light, these smaller molecules create a “whitening effect”.

In-Office Tooth Whitening

This procedure is called chairside bleaching and usually requires only one office visit. A protective gel to your gums or a rubber shield is applied to protect your gums. Bleach is then applied to the teeth. Teeth whitening done by your dentist can get teeth brighter faster. The bleaching solution is usually much stronger than at-home kits. Also, heat, light, or a combination of the two may be used to speed and intensify the whitening process. The most dramatic results where teeth generally get three to eight shades brighter usually take several 30- to 60-minute in-office visits.

At-Home Bleaching from Your Dentist

A custom-made tray is provided for at-home whitening. In this case instructions on how to place the bleaching solution in the tray and for what length of time are given. Out-of-office bleaching can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.
